Marlon Jones is a visionary who’s entering the prime of his creativity and storytelling prowess. MJ is a filmmaker with a distinctive vision and by his own admission he’s a filmmaker with“integrity and an edge”. With over 20 years of Film/TV experience, MJ excels in every stage of filmmaking. Marlon is also an Emmy Award-Winning Editor. The ability to execute both on-set in production, as well as in post-production makes MJ the“total package”. All in all, the greatest asset that MJ possesses is his commitment to excellence and the willingness to do whatever it takes to get the job done.

Director Statement

This film is NOT intended for children under 16.

INTERCESSORS is the most unlikely of films and it is almost impossible to categorize. It’s not a traditional faith or family film. However, the message is un-compromised. I believe that the storytelling in Intercessors is authentic and born from a desire to speak to a wider audience than any specific genre or target. The truth is, most Christian or “Faith-based” films are only relatable to“church folks”. So what about non-religious audiences? Are they excluded? And if so, why? The intent with Intercessors is to bridge the gap between secular and non-secular audiences and make the tenets of faith and spiritual warfare accessible to non-religious people as well as hardcore Christians. Most will love this project. Others will have questions. The truth is... there are interesting characters that have stories worthy of investing our emotions in. This project was created to strengthen and empower women and to give viewers a glimpse into the lives of believers.
