Imagine a female-driven story that’s laced with gritty, real-life nuance, an uncompromising look at spiritual precepts, and heartfelt girl-power mixed with a ton of action! That is the recipe for the feature film INTERCESSORS. This film shatters the perception of what faith-based films traditionally look or feel like. Terms like “SpiritualWarfare” and “Living Water” may seem foreign to most, but this story makes these concepts easy to digest in a visceral and relatable allegory. Dawn is a budding songstress with a bright future, but her life is threatened by a paralyzing fear. Raina is a grad student who’s obsessed with achievement, but the pursuit of perfection could push her over the edge. Lyn is in an abusive relationship that threatens her mind, her will, and her emotions. Each of these stories collide in this action-drama about the power of faith, friendship, and prayer. And in the midst of the chaos, a Siren blares! INTERCESSORS

who is Siren?
Siren is an enigma. Siren is the audience’s conscience. Siren is the voice for the voiceless. Siren is the show’s anchor and foundation. Siren is the show’s narrator. She’s a “watcher”. She watches the characters in our story as the viewers do, simultaneously. Siren’s commentary breaks the “fourth wall” whenever she wants to and we love it because her commentary is always poignant. Siren loves you… as she’s an unabashedly, unashamed woman of God and follower of Jesus Christ. In the same breath, as much as she loves people, she’s always honest, always keeps it real, and she does NOT care what you think about her. Siren is a polarizing figure, yet in most instances she is who we wish we could be. She says whatever is on her mind with no regrets. She has a big heart and often empathizes with the characters in the show.
Now that we kind of know who Siren is, let’s explore “what” Siren is. Is she an angel? No. Is she a figment of our imagination? A scribe? A prophet? Artificial intelligence? An avatar? Well, that will be revealed at the proper time! And in her own words “It doesn’t matter who I am. Just pay attention.”
